About the job

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an education in Electrical Engineering or another engineering discipline.
  • Ability to work in the Eagan, Minnesota location five days per week.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to work on some out-of-town projects.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Model equipment and raceway layouts in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional formats.
  • Gain exposure to industry-specific software tools for design and analysis of project-specific requirements.
  • Design and work with electrical equipment.
  • Gain project-specific equipment, installation, and quality exposure while coordinating with internal and external design personnel and construction personnel.
  • Obtain on-site exposure to build comprehension of drawing details in relation to construction activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
