- A Professional Bachelor of Nursing diploma or an HBO5 Nursing diploma is required.
- Specialization in mental health care is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
- Experience caring for psychiatric patients and children is an advantage.
- Patient safety must be a priority.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to ensure continuity of care.

- Participate in nursing continuity day and night within the child psychiatry unit.
- Organize and perform nursing procedures within the child psychiatry unit.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders within the unit.
- Disseminate information and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary consultation within the unit.
- Develop personal skills, technical competencies, and know-how through continuing education.
- Participate in implementing new projects within the unit and projects evaluating the quality of care.
- Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
