Requirements

  • A completed technical or commercial vocational qualification with further training as a master craftsperson, technician, or business administrator, or a degree related to production, logistics, or quality management.
  • Several years of leadership experience in production, ideally in shift operations.
  • Experience in cleanroom, hygiene, or GMP environments is a plus, such as EU-GMP Annex 1 or ISO 14644.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and KPI management.
  • Demonstrable practical experience in Lean Management and continuous improvement, ideally with an additional qualification such as Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Ability to independently lead improvement projects and motivate employees to embrace change.
  • A clear and respectful leadership and communication style, decisiveness, and a hands-on approach.
  • A structured working style, resilience, and ability to connect operational requirements with strategic goals.
  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Very good German and good English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production at the Radeburg site and provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the team, including shift supervisors.
  • Build a strong leadership team, develop employees, and foster a culture of accountability and initiative.
  • Plan and manage capacity, workforce deployment, and shift models proactively and flexibly.
  • Build and further develop the site's production system according to Lean principles.
  • Establish shopfloor management, 5S, standard work, and regular continuous-improvement sessions, making improvements visible and measurable in daily operations.
  • Analyze value streams, eliminate waste, and sustainably improve throughput, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Enable shift supervisors and the team to solve problems and advance improvements independently.
  • Ensure safe, GMP-compliant production in accordance with cleanroom, hygiene, and occupational-safety requirements.
  • Prepare for and support internal and customer audits, and consistently implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation.
  • Define and manage production KPIs, and communicate goals and results transparently to the team and site management.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, Human Resources, and Customer Service to ensure customer orders are processed reliably and on time.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in cleanroom, hygiene, or GMP environments, such as EU-GMP Annex 1 or ISO 14644.
  • An additional Lean qualification, such as Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
