Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience installing DC power equipment.
  • At least 2 years of experience adding or removing wiring and connections on DC power equipment, or adding or removing telecom batteries.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to consistently lift and carry at least 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work on ladders at various heights for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to frequently reach above, below, and at shoulder level.
  • Must have adequate vision and hearing to safely perform essential job functions.
  • Must have fine hand and finger manipulation skills to perform skilled tasks.
  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue by working with the lead installer to execute sales transactions that address complex business issues and provide product or application solutions.
  • Perform work operations on energized equipment or circuits under the direct supervision of the lead installer.
  • Work with the lead installer on DC power transition work, including cutovers on live equipment.
  • Assist with adding or removing telecom batteries.
  • Assist the lead installer with equipment testing and turn-up.
  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
  • Follow all Environmental Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Communicate with the lead installer on all aspects of the job throughout its duration.
  • Perform work assignments given by the lead installer or supervisor.
