  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scheduler in a New Space, Aerospace, or other technical industry (for Mission Scheduler II)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scheduler in a New Space, Aerospace, or other technical industry (for Senior Mission Scheduler I)
  • Proven success in creating Scheduling processes and best practices
  • Detailed knowledge and familiarity with MS Project and SmartSheet
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, analyze, and support the reporting of schedules for Rocket Lab Space Systems programs
  • Ensure that schedules contain sufficient level of detail to support planning through all phases of programs
  • Ensure that schedules are aligned with project objectives and resource availability
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate scheduling
  • Ensure that Space Systems Program Managers are apprised of program schedule performance
  • Identify potential risks and bottlenecks that could impact schedules and develop mitigation strategies
  • Create and deliver timely schedule reports to Program Managers for internal and external schedule reporting
  • Create, build, and maintain scheduling tools and processes that improve the efficiency and quality of schedule reporting
  • Implement best practices in scheduling to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Desired Qualifications
  • MPS (Master Planning and Scheduling) Certification
  • MS Project Certification
  • Relevant project management experience
  • A curiosity and willingness to work across multiple teams to build great processes
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
