Cleaner – Project Worker

Location: Downtown, Vancouver, BC
Shift Type: Part Time 
Shift Days: Two Days Per Week; varies
Shift Hours: 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate: $21.98/ hourly 

2 days a week and 7.5 hour shifts each** 

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Moving furniture
• Cleaning Ptacs
• Other projects asked by manager or supervisor
• Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner
• Report equipment repairs and stock shortages
• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs
• Event set up as required
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Ability to read & understand labels & instructions
• Previous custodial experience an asset
• excellent communication skills
• Comfortable using electronics

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available to work weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Pressure washing experience 
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
