Suite Studios has announced S3 Native File Streaming, enabling creative teams to work directly on petabyte-scale datasets stored in S3-compatible object storage. The cloud-native platform allows instant access to massive project files without requiring data migration, duplication or downloads. The technology streams only necessary data in real time, reducing startup times and local storage demands whilst ensuring teams work on the latest versions. Unlike traditional file sync systems, Suite operates as a streaming layer within existing workflows, maintaining a single source of truth in customer-owned storage. The platform integrates with existing Media Asset Management and Digital Asset Management systems and supports AWS, Backblaze, Cloudflare, Azure and other storage providers. Currently available in beta, S3 Native File Streaming will launch generally in April 2026 with volume-based pricing for petabyte-scale deployments.
