  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to create data-centric product visions, translate them into roadmaps, and manage products from framing to retirement with a data-as-a-product mindset.
  • Experience defining product outcomes, slicing work, and measuring real value.
  • A track record of solving problems and overcoming roadblocks in complex environments with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset.
  • Agile and Lean skills, including Agile, Lean Startup, story mapping, minimum viable products, hypothesis framing, and assumption testing; experience implementing agile frameworks in enterprise environments using Jira and Confluence.
  • Functional and technical understanding of data platforms, including Snowflake, extract, transform, and load, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, and semantic layers.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making, using metrics and market trends to guide decisions and predict product performance and demand.
  • Cross-functional leadership and influencing skills across developers, designers, business stakeholders, and regulatory specialists; ability to think strategically and align product strategy to business needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and providing clear executive updates.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to user feedback, and champion new approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Define data-as-a-product goals and measurable success metrics tied to user behavior and business value.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into measurable outcomes using user insights and data rather than assumptions.
  • Connect day-to-day delivery with long-term value through outcome-oriented sprint goals.
  • Track value metrics after releases, interpret actual user behavior, and use cloud data platform and generative artificial intelligence insights to adapt product direction.
  • Lead the product trio of Product Owner, Strategy, and Engineering through dual-track discovery and delivery.
  • Frame hypotheses and assumptions, and set a learning goal for every sprint.
  • Use interviews, journey mapping, and assumption testing to identify worthwhile problems.
  • Run experiments to validate ideas before committing engineering effort.
  • Own and reorder the backlog based on evidence and impact.
  • Balance value, feasibility, risk, and learning in prioritization decisions.
  • Filter out noise, protect team focus, and communicate decisions not to proceed or to defer with clear rationale.
  • Address user problems and needs within the data mesh approach.
  • Translate business vision into epics, features, and user stories.
  • Use story mapping, journey mapping, conceptual data models, data flow diagrams, and collaborative design sessions to align teams on the rationale before implementation.
  • Make dependencies, trade-offs, and priorities visible across the team.
  • Work with business subject-matter experts, leadership, compliance, technology, design, and vendors, involving them in discovery, testing, and co-creation.
  • Share vision, learnings, and progress openly, using storytelling and evidence to frame decisions.
  • Challenge assumptions respectfully, act as a thought partner and key opinion leader, and manage expectations without becoming a proxy.
  • Drive alignment and decisions across internal teams and vendors, and move programs forward without formal authority.
  • Shape lessons learned, product sustainment, and cross-team collaboration structures.
  • Co-create product vision aligned with product and business strategy.
  • Break strategy into testable product bets during quarterly planning.
  • Oversee strategic product investment and ensure appropriate resourcing.
  • Prepare and run end-user training.
  • Coordinate rollout communications.
  • Provide post-release hypercare.
  • Build lightweight support assets, including how-to guides, walkthroughs, and frequently asked questions.
  • Turn user feedback into actionable improvements and measurable adoption gains.

Desired Qualifications

  • A master's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in technology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with enterprise workflows, data-heavy platforms, or artificial-intelligence- or large-language-model-based products; familiarity with generative artificial intelligence in enterprise products.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management, procurement, or information technology service management systems.
  • Background in digital transformation or enterprise data governance.
  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Prior development or prototyping experience.
