About the job
- A Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of sales or application experience in molecular spectroscopy or an analytical environment is required.
- In-depth knowledge of FTIR, FT-NIR, Raman spectroscopy, IR microscopy, Raman microscopy, and infrared gas analyzer instruments is required.
- Knowledge of key account management and the ability to generate key accounts is required.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex request scenarios are required.
- Spoken and written communication skills in English, Hindi, or a local language are required.
- The candidate must be able to efficiently and professionally guide clients through analytical tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under time-sensitive conditions are required.
- A professional and empathetic approach to handling customer queries and internal stakeholders is required.
- The candidate must be proactive, dependable, customer-focused, and demonstrate strong follow-through.
- Provide high-level molecular spectroscopy expertise to support sales and marketing activities and customer care after sales.
- Coordinate with customers and application colleagues for instrument demonstrations, independently or as part of a team, during the sales process, and report feasibility studies to customers and team members.
- Organize, conduct, and report the progress of sample investigations on customer samples.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical knowledge of instrument-system specifications and operations and associated software.
- Present technical aspects of products to customers and sales channels.
- Provide customer training and coordinate training at installation or on demand.
- Work closely with customers to develop new applications in industry and academic and government institutions.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management, specifically Salesforce, and SAP is a plus.
- Molecular spectroscopy sales or application experience is preferred.
- Experience in an analytical environment is preferred.

Published on 09/21/2026 at 09:36 am EDT S&P Capital IQ Bruker Corporation announced a multi-system order from University of California, Berkeley for high-field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) instrumentation at the Pines Magnetic Resonance Center. The investment will enhance access to next-generation NMR technologies, including 800 MHz?class instrumentation. The investment is centered on a Bruker AV NEO-X 800 MHz spectrometer equipped with a cryogenically cooled MAS CryoProbe, complemented by several additional NMR systems and upgrades supporting solid-state, solution-state and Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) research.
