Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Applicants must be recent graduates within two years in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong Python programming skills are required.
  • Familiarity with at least one GenAI framework, such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, is required.
  • Foundational knowledge of natural language processing concepts, vector embeddings, and semantic search is required.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
  • Candidates must be able to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates must hold, or demonstrate the clear ability to obtain within one week of hire, the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations certification from Anthropic.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, train, fine-tune, and deploy AI models using large language models and other generative techniques.
  • Support the GenAI Solution Architect in designing robust, scalable, and secure applications.
  • Develop applications powered by GenAI models that meet business needs and comply with applicable regulations, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, and model licenses.
  • Design and optimize prompts, including few-shot, Chain/Tree/Graph of Thought, ReAct, Self-reflection, and guardrails approaches.
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures that retrieve information from predetermined knowledge sources and provide source attribution.
  • Select and fine-tune appropriate models, including multimodal, visual language, and small language models, to create text, image, audio, and code content.
  • Implement MLOps practices for the GenAI lifecycle, including automated CI/CD pipelines, versioning, monitoring, and production maintenance across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Integrate GenAI solutions with existing systems and external tools and APIs, potentially using the Model Context Protocol.
  • Develop and execute evaluation frameworks measuring model performance, reliability, fairness, and safety.
  • Support Responsible AI, security, and compliance processes for teams and clients.
  • Research advances in GenAI techniques, technologies, and frameworks, experiment with new approaches, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Distinguish use cases suited for Generative AI from those suited for traditional natural language processing applications such as named entity recognition and sentiment analysis.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience building agentic AI systems using LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, pgvector, or OpenSearch is preferred.
  • Experience with or understanding of the Model Context Protocol is preferred.
  • Hands-on fine-tuning experience with open-source large language models is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows is preferred.

Sia acquires Kaiser Associates to launch global corporate strategy and M&A business line

Sia, a global management consulting group, has acquired Kaiser Associates, a US-based strategy consulting firm, to launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A business line spanning the US, UK, France, Middle East and Australia. Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates brings 65 consultants and operates from Washington, D.C., New York and London. The firm specialises in go-to-market strategy, growth assessments and market landscaping for Fortune 500 executives and private equity funds. Kaiser Associates' leadership team, including Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma and Jon Meyerholz, will join Sia as partners, with Meyerholz heading the new business line as managing partner. The acquisition expands Sia's North American presence and strengthens its position in private equity advisory.
