Industrial Maintenance Technician
About the job
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are required.
- Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers without programming access, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Mechanical capability with bearings, alignment, and general repairs.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently on night shift.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot control systems and programmable-logic-controller-driven machinery; programming is not required.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Support repairs on motors, drives, sensors, and related components.
- Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as needed.
- Document work performed and communicate issues across shifts.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
