- Possess a university degree specialized in architecture, urban planning, art history, or another related specialization.
- Possess experience evaluating the heritage value of a site or building, characterizing heritage components, and conducting historical research.
- Hold a university degree in heritage.
- Have at least two years of experience in this field.
- Have completed at least two projects during the last three years involving inventory, heritage evaluation, heritage characterization, historical research, or a similar project.
- Restore or reproduce all or part of a building while respecting architectural heritage conservation rules.
- Rehabilitate buildings by making the modifications necessary to meet standards and contemporary uses.
- Carry out alterations for a change in building use while preserving the integrity of the building.
- Perform major maintenance work affecting the building's structure, preparing interventions through building analysis, diagnostic visits, pathology identification, and verification of technical documents provided for the construction site.
- Organize workstations and distribute tasks among the construction-site team.
- Implement restoration and rehabilitation techniques.
- Organize team work areas in compliance with team-member safety rules.
