  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, a proactive approach, and a customer-service focus.
  • Two to three years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC and CBORD is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics is required.
  • Completion of a postgraduate supervised dietetic internship program approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
  • Successful passage of the National Registration Examination for Dietitians to become a Registered Dietitian is required.
  • New York State Certification as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist is required within one year of the start date.
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' nutritional status and intervene with appropriate medical nutrition therapy and/or diet education to improve, maintain, or optimize nutrition status.
  • Document patients' nutritional care in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and committee meetings.
  • Assist with the orientation and training of new employees.
  • Participate in the clinical education of dietetic interns from clinical affiliates.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two to three years of clinical experience.
  • Experience with EPIC and CBORD.
  • A Master's Degree and/or advanced certification in nutrition.
