Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) will be a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience leading developing new technology for established teams.
  • An engineer that can design durable, extensible systems while also feeling comfortable building a first version quickly to validate then iterate.
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency improvements through the delivery of solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, familiarity with application development technologies (Web, Typescript, and PostgreSQL, GraphQL) and experience in backend technologies (such as Node.js, Python, AWS).
  • Experience in data-driven optimization, including familiarity with databases, data modeling, and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Experience in conducting experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different growth strategies, features, and user experiences, and iterating based on data-driven findings.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and machine learning models, including their applications in ranking, NLP, targeting and search is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead growth engineering efforts by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing technology solutions aimed at accelerating the growth of our product.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions that contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation of performant backend to testing, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions.
