Super Micro's $19B quarter surprise lifts case for buying Nvidia stock at $220

Super Micro Computer raised its guidance for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, saying revenue should reach $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion. In August, it had forecast $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion. The server maker credited "increased demand for AI platforms," and its shares rose about 9%. The midpoint of about $19 billion is almost four times the $5.0 billion it posted a year earlier. It now expects a gross margin of 12% to 12.5%, up from an earlier outlook of 10.4% to 10.8%. The figures are preliminary and unaudited. Full results are due November 3. Super Micro leads its AI lineup with Nvidia's Blackwell systems, so the result bodes well for Nvidia, which has forecast $108.0 billion in revenue for its fiscal third quarter. Nvidia trades near $220, about 14 times expected fiscal 2028 earnings.

Supermicro launches liquid-cooled 256-CPU Nvidia Vera rack for 22,500 agentic AI sandboxes

Super Micro Computer announced the NVIDIA Vera CPU rack on October 22, 2026, a 100% liquid-cooled system for agentic AI, reinforcement learning, and data processing. It is the latest addition to the company's Data Center Building Block Solutions (DCBBS) portfolio. The rack holds 256 NVIDIA Vera CPUs, with 22,528 cores and 45,056 threads. It supports up to 22,500 concurrent agent sandboxes. It can run standalone or alongside the Vera Rubin NVL72, which is now shipping. NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPUs handle networking and security, and the rack supports NVIDIA's OpenShell Reference Architecture to monitor and govern agent behaviour. Customers can power the rack with a traditional AC feed or an 800 VDC sidecar rack that uses battery backup units. The rack is available to quote now.

Supermicro AI-RAN deal targets 5G efficiency and future 6G networks.

Supermicro AI-RAN deal targets 5G efficiency and future 6G networks. Stock score locked: want to see it? Benzinga Rankings give you vital metrics on any stock - anytime. Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares are trading higher on Thursday after the company raised its first quarter guidance on Wednesday ahead of its earnings on November 3, 2026. The company projects revenue of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, up from prior guidance of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion on higher demand for AI platforms. Analysts expect EPS of 55 cents, up from 35 cents a year earlier, while revenue is projected to reach $11.07 billion, compared with $5.02 billion in the same period last year. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 10.0x, suggesting a potential valuation opportunity relative to its peers. Analyst Consensus & Recent Actions: The stock carries a Hold rating with an average price forecast of $38.00. Recent analyst moves include: * Rosenblatt: Buy (Raises Target to $57.00) (Oct. 21) * Rosenblatt: Buy (Maintains Target to $51.00) (Oct. 16) * Citigroup: Neutral (Raises Target to $45.00) (Oct. 8) Partners with Nokia and nvidia on AI-RAN deployments. On Wednesday, Super Micro Computer said it is partnering with Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) to roll out AI-powered radio access networks (AI-RAN), combining Nokia's network technology, NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA)'s accelerated computing platform and Supermicro's AI-optimized infrastructure. The integrated system will support 5G network efficiency while allowing operators to run connectivity and AI workloads on shared infrastructure, creating opportunities for low-latency services such as voice AI, vision AI, enterprise edge computing and physical AI applications. The companies aim to help telecom operators improve network performance, generate revenue from new AI services and prepare for future 6G networks. SMCI technical outlook: trend and Key Support levels. Wednesday's jump is helping SMCI defend its longer-term uptrend structure, but the chart still has work to do: the stock is trading 6.9% below its 20-day SMA ($39.67) and 4.9% below its 50-day SMA ($38.81), which keeps near-term trend pressure in focus. On the other hand, it's still 5.2% above the 100-day SMA ($35.09) and 13.5% above the 200-day SMA ($32.52), so the intermediate trend remains constructive. RSI is the cleaner momentum lens right now, sitting at 46.85, which reads as neutral and consistent with a stock trying to transition from a pullback into a new push higher. In plain terms, RSI helps gauge whether a move is getting stretched; this level suggests SMCI isn't overbought, but it also isn't showing runaway momentum yet. * Key Resistance: $42.00 - a nearby round-number area where rebounds can stall * Key Support: $35.50 - a nearby level that sits close to the 100-day SMA zone and can act as a line-in-the-sand for bulls How SMCI ranks on growth, value and quality. Below is the Benzinga Edge scorecard for Super Micro Computer, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses compared to the broader market: * Momentum: Neutral (Score: 50.44) - The stock's tape is more balanced than trend-driven right now, lining up with a rebound attempt rather than a clean breakout. * Quality: Bullish (Score: 94.03) - The scorecard flags strong underlying business quality versus the broader market. * Value: Bullish (Score: 92.3) - Valuation screens as attractive on this model, which can matter if the stock holds above key moving-average support. * Growth: Bullish (Score: 99.12) - Growth is the standout pillar, reinforcing why AI/edge expansion headlines can move the stock quickly. The Verdict: Super Micro Computer's Benzinga Edge signal reveals a growth-led profile with strong quality and value support, while momentum sits in the middle of the pack. For longer-term bulls, that mix can work well if price can reclaim the 20-day/50-day area and turn $42.00 into a breakout level rather than a ceiling. SMCI ETF exposure and passive flow risk. * YieldMax SMCI Option Income Strategy ETF (NYSE:SMCY): 37.67% Weight * ERShares Entrepreneurs ETF (NASDAQ:ENTR): 3.74% Weight * Inspire Capital Appreciation ETF (NYSE:RISN): 3.84% Weight Significance: Because SMCI carries such a heavy weight in these funds, any significant inflows or outflows for these ETFs will likely force automatic buying or selling of the stock. SMCI Stock Price action today. SMCI Stock Price Activity: Super Micro Computer shares are trading higher by 9.66% at $35.60 at the time of publication on Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.

Supermicro and Nokia bring NVIDIA AI-RAN computing to the network edge

Supermicro is working with Nokia to deploy AI radio access networks (AI-RAN), from distributed cell sites to centralised network hubs. The system pairs Nokia's RAN technology with the NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer (ARC) platform and Supermicro's AI-optimised infrastructure. Placing accelerated compute closer to the access network lets operators run radio and AI workloads on shared infrastructure. It supports low-latency uses such as voice AI, vision AI, physical AI, and autonomous network operations, and offers a path to 6G. Supermicro's servers for NVIDIA ARC are available now. The ARC MGX 2U with dual Vera processor will follow later this year. The 2U ARC-Pro goes to customer testing later this year, with general availability in the first half of 2027.
