Refrigeration Technician
About the job
- A diploma in refrigeration technology, HVAC, or electromechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Hold a Category I F-gas certificate.
- A VCA certificate and BA4/BA5 qualifications are considered a plus.
- Hold a Category B driver's license.
- Work independently and accurately, with a customer-focused approach.
- Install and commission split units, VRF systems, industrial refrigeration systems, and heat pumps.
- Connect refrigeration components and perform vacuum and refrigerant charging work in accordance with F-gas regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve faults and leaks.
- Replace and adjust defective parts and control equipment.
- Complete work orders and maintenance reports accurately.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and optimize buildings to support comfort and sustainability.
- A VCA certificate and BA4/BA5 qualifications are considered a plus.
