Responsibilities
  • Provide consultations to new and returning patients regarding product selection, dosing, and methods of consumption.
  • Assess patient needs and ensure appropriate education for safe medication use.
  • Answer clinical and therapeutic questions with evidence-based guidance.
  • Support patient understanding of potential benefits, risks, and responsible use.
  • Ensure full compliance with Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
  • Verify patient eligibility and program compliance before dispensing.
  • Monitor each medical transaction within the dispensary for safety and regulatory accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with Department of Health standards.
  • Maintain readiness for scheduled and unscheduled regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with dispensary leadership to uphold safe dispensing practices.
  • Assist with workflow coordination to maintain patient care standards during peak volume.
  • Support cross-functional tasks when appropriate, including patient greeting and floor presence.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for dispensary staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a medical marijuana dispensary.
  • Advanced knowledge of cannabinoid pharmacology and drug interactions.
  • Experience in regulated healthcare or retail pharmacy environments.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
