Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Analyze sales contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and other departments to review and interpret contractual terms
  • Stay updated with changes in revenue recognition standards and communicate any potential impact to the finance team
  • Undertake regular reconciliations of revenue transactions against SAP RAR to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between financial records and SAP RAR data
  • Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades, implementations, and issue resolution
  • Analyze revenue data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address data-related issues
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and support for internal and external audits related to revenue recognition
  • Address audit queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Support efforts to identify opportunities for process improvements in revenue recognition and related systems
  • Participate in projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the revenue accounting function
  • Preparation of accurate and timely revenue-related financial reports
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of revenue accounting processes and decisions
