Requirements

  • Cloud experience with AWS or GCP is a significant advantage, and actively following cloud topics is required.
  • Ability to identify and explain concepts such as modern data platforms, data warehouses, data lakehouses, cloud-native architectures, and serverless computing.
  • Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; query engines such as Spark, EMR, Databricks, Starburst, or Athena; data programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala; storage technologies such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, S3, or Cloud Storage; data ingestion or streaming frameworks such as Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, or Google Dataflow; and visualization tools such as Tableau, Metabase, or Superset.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality code in agile production environments.
  • Comfortable communicating in English, including for projects with international clients.
  • Curiosity, willingness to propose ideas, share knowledge, improve continuously, and actively participate in a data community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new data pipelines on clients' data platforms using software development best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data scientists to support the industrialization of their work, including testing, continuous integration, model scalability, and craftsmanship.
  • Work with cloud builders to create data assets on resilient infrastructure.
  • Contribute expertise in a continually evolving field.
  • Participate in internal data-community events, including brown-bag lunches, webinars, internal meetups, blogs, and workshops, as well as external events such as Big Data and cloud summits, Devoxx, partner workshops, and meetups.
  • Share learnings from client engagements and community events through blog articles, experience reports, and internal brown-bag sessions.

  • Experience with AWS or GCP is strongly preferred.
