Requirements
  • Two years of experience and trauma experience are required.
  • More than 500-bed hospital experience is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology certification program is required.
  • Computed tomography charting experience in EPIC is required.
  • A flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions permitted.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography, ARRT Radiography, and Basic Life Support certifications are required.
  • Experience as a first-time traveler is accepted.
  • Experience in inpatient, emergency room, and adult intensive care unit settings is required.
  • Use of GE and Siemens FORCE scanners is required.
  • Experience with computed tomography procedures involving the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, brain perfusion, computed tomography angiography, and multiplanar reconstruction is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography scanners to produce detailed images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment.
  • Ensure radiation safety.
  • Deliver high-quality images while providing compassionate patient care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Trauma Level I and II experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with outpatient settings, intravenous starts, PACS, contrast, and Visage is preferred.
