About the company

Noïa Labs builds non-invasive brain-computer interfaces to let people control AI systems using brain signals in real time. Its wearable device carries optimized neural sensors and runs large-scale AI and machine-learning models trained across many users to decode user intent from neural activity. This approach aims to provide a comfortable, reliable wearable that can acquire high-quality brain data for natural, on-the-fly collaboration with AI, without surgical implants. Unlike many competitors, Noïa Labs emphasizes a non-invasive, user-friendly wearable built on a multi-user model base and a hybrid Paris-based team with backing from tier-1 investors. The company’s goal is to expand human-AI interaction by enabling seamless intent decoding to guide AI systems and enable new modes of collaboration.

What believers are saying

  • Hiring a senior BCI Scientist in June 2026 shows active technical buildout.
  • Sid Kouider's Snap and NextMind pedigree attracts engineers, investors, and strategic acquirers.
  • Non-medical brain-signal data collection avoids device-regulatory drag and speeds commercial iteration.

What critics are saying

  • No public product launch exists; stealth lasts through September 2026, delaying proof.
  • 500 euro capital and pre-seed funding from Kima, Drysdale, and angels constrain hardware runway.
  • Human-intent decoding from EEG faces weak signal quality; a failed demo kills the company.

What makes Noïa Labs unique

  • Sid Kouider built NextMind and led neural interfaces at Snap through December 2024.
  • Noïa Labs targets non-invasive intent decoding, not surgery, with real-time AI collaboration.
  • Paris incorporation on April 3, 2026 anchors a focused neurotech team near prior talent.
