Requirements

  • Experience using foot-controlled tungsten inert gas and metal inert gas welding equipment.
  • Experience performing manual tungsten inert gas welding operations.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods during the shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with American Petroleum Institute and International Organization for Standardization quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
  • Apply weld overlays to components using tungsten inert gas and metal inert gas welding processes in accordance with approved welding procedures.
  • Set up and weld components within specified welding parameters and quality requirements.
  • Perform detailed grinding and finishing operations following weld repairs.
  • Support repair activities on gas turbine and steam turbine components.
  • Adhere to company safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Complete all work in accordance with applicable manufacturing standards and customer requirements.
  • Support production schedules and operational requirements, including shift flexibility when required.
