  • One to two years of high-volume production cooking is preferred.
  • Elementary-level education is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and store hot and cold food items for the cafeteria, patient meal service, special functions, and outside programs.
  • Maintain a high standard for sanitation in the production area.
  • Prepare assigned recipes daily in proper quantities and according to established standards.
  • Know and practice the principles of quantity food cooking.
  • Ensure that foods are properly cooked to specified temperatures.
  • Take corrective action when food temperatures fall outside the required range of below 40 or above 140 degrees.
  • Report raw or cooked food products of questionable quality to the supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled meetings and in-service sessions in a prepared manner.
  • Evaluate and improve the taste, smell, appearance, and texture of food.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special items for patients and cafeteria customers according to established standards.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions promptly and alert other employees to possible unsafe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean-as-you-go attitude and a sanitary work area.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils using prescribed cleaning methods.
  • Use proper hand-washing techniques at all times.
  • Suggest items for café menu rotation.
  • Prepare special requests accurately and on time.
  • Produce recipes in the required quantities to avoid waste or run-outs.
  • Produce recipes and dietary modifications to ensure wholesomeness as assessed by the taste panel.
  • Follow standardized recipe cards to ensure product consistency.
  • Determine which recipes to use first to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Complete the daily pre-preparation and pull worksheet as assigned.
  • Prepare food for special functions, patients, and customers in a delicious and attractive manner.
  • Adhere to sanitation guidelines to prevent foodborne illness and the spread of infections.
  • Ensure that food is properly chilled, covered, labeled, dated, and stored.
  • Use proper body mechanics when moving objects to avoid injury.
  • Maintain the cook's walk-in in an orderly and sanitary condition, including proper storage, labeling, and thawing of food products.

  • Record refrigeration temperatures in a daily temperature log.
  • Demonstrate respect for the dignity of patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers across differences in cultures, values, beliefs, and ages, using interpreters when needed.

(“TriSalus” or the “company”), an oncology company in the process of going public through a business combination transaction (the “Business Combination”) with MedTech Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq: MTAC) (“MedTech” or “MTAC”), today announced that it has expanded the reach of its ongoing Pressure-Enabled Regional Immuno-Oncology™ (“PERIO™-01” and “PERIO™-02”) clinical program.In recent months TriSalus has opened five new PERIO™-01 (NCT04935229) clinical trial sites, at Stanford University Hospitals, University of California Los Angeles, University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Washington Medical Center and University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, in addition to five previously activated sites.
