About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience leading account executive and/or business development representative teams in business-to-business software as a service, with a proven enterprise new-logo sales track record.
  • Experience building an outbound-led pipeline motion and using MEDDPICC or a comparable qualification framework from first contact through procurement and legal.
  • Experience scaling a sales organization in the 5–20 million euro annual recurring revenue range.
  • Business-fluent German and proficient English.
Responsibilities
  • Own the entire sales function, including upselling, report to the Chief Executive Officer, participate on the leadership team, and own the sales number at board level with the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Lead a total sales headcount of 13–15 people across business development representatives, account executives, and team leadership.
  • Lead high-touch enterprise sales to industrial companies and commercially lead a lean, low-touch motion for smaller accounts.
  • Own new and expansion annual recurring revenue from enterprise accounts, drive complex multi-stakeholder deals, and bring rigor to qualification and forecasting using MEDDPICC.
  • Build, coach, and steer a high-performing sales team; make key hiring and succession decisions; and own sales organizational design, budget, portfolio, and investment decisions.
  • Own pipeline coverage end to end across outbound, inbound, events, and partners, and sharpen ideal customer profile targeting, messaging, and playbooks.
  • Own the long-term sales strategy, identify priority markets and verticals, drive ideal customer profile shifts, and determine where the company competes and wins.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and co-founders, and collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to translate market, competitor, and win/loss signals into product priorities.
  • Own the sales forecast and key performance indicators, translate signals into action, and report revenue performance at board level with the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Lead the low-touch go-to-market motion for smaller accounts, including expansion in alignment with Customer Success, using automation and artificial intelligence where it creates leverage.
  • Build and grow the company's presence in the SAP ecosystem, including partnerships with system integrators and consultancies.
  • Position integrations as a differentiator in enterprise deals and build solution engineering capabilities for integration scoping, technical validation, and proofs of concept with Product and Engineering.
Desired Qualifications
  • Meaningful experience in or near the industrial sector, such as manufacturing, plant operations, facilities, or a comparable environment.
  • Willingness to travel and build face-to-face relationships with enterprise customers on the shop floor.
  • Direct exposure to maintenance, asset management, or service operations.
  • Knowledge of the partner and system integrator ecosystem and ERP-connected buying decisions.
  • Ability to think in key performance indicators, make data-based decisions, build dashboards, interpret them, and act on the results.
  • Hands-on experience using artificial intelligence tools for customer-facing and internal workflows, with a focus on automation.
  • A product-led and low-touch mindset involving automation, in-product flows, and self-serve content.
