Requirements
  • Extensive experience in UI/UX design, with background leading design projects from ideation to launch.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate problems, design concepts and decisions to various stakeholders.
  • Mastery of Figma, along with classics like Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong ability to prototype—whether in Figma, Principal, or code—quickly and effectively.
  • Experience gathering customer feedback, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, able to adapt to changing priorities and handle ambiguity with grace.
Responsibilities
  • Serve multiple stakeholders – People looking for help from our Agents via chat & voice, CX managers using our tools to monitor and improve the process, and Developers looking to build on and extend our platform.
  • Drive the entire design process from concept to execution to iteration, in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, leadership, and the entire company to define and build a seamless and cohesive experience.
  • Gather customer feedback and usability testing to gather insights and iterate to ensure we solve user problems effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across all products and platforms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing for AI-driven products or conversational interfaces.
  • Experience working on developer-driven products, including SDKs, APIs, and technical tooling.
  • Experience with Typescript, React, and other programming languages.

Ai App Startups Making Rapid Gains In Sales And Funding

Startups that build artificial intelligence (AI) applications on top of large language models (LLMs) are reportedly making rapid gains in both sales and funding. These startups are reaching as much as $200 million in annual recurring revenue in less than two years and, as a group, increased the amount of funding they attracted by 110% to reach $8.2 billion in 2024, the Financial Times (FT) reported Monday (April 14), citing data from Dealroom.co and Flashpoint. This category of AI startups includes companies like Perplexity, Synthesia,  ElevenLabs, Harvey and Sierra, according to the report
