Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic planning for EITaaS; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, unless substituted by additional years of experience.
  • Must be capable of applying extensive expertise to solve complex EITaaS problems, regularly using ingenuity and creativity.
  • Able to apply expertise to identify and resolve complex problems independently.
  • Must understand and apply principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  • Able to develop solutions for a variety of complex problems and perform work under general direction.
  • Able to plan schedules and arrange activities to efficiently accomplish objectives.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information following a U.S. government security investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts within EITaaS functional areas to develop strategic plans and provide expert recommendations on networking and telecommunications models.
  • Provide requirements and Service Level Agreement definitions.
  • Assist in planning, documenting, and reviewing proposed application migration strategies.
  • Assist in developing a strategic plan with a vision, goals, and objectives applicable to the relevant functional area of expertise.
  • Provide expert consulting to assist the government in defining EITaaS-specific cybersecurity requirements and definitions, and support appropriate application of these concepts in the Air Force Network Risk Management Framework.
  • Provide expertise to assist in implementing EITaaS transition strategies and normalizing operations support.
  • Assist in developing a framework for understanding end users and their interactions with United States Air Force information technology, including user archetypes and journeys across Risk Reduction Effort bases.
  • Assist in designing and prototyping methods and processes for gathering user experience metrics across Risk Reduction Effort bases, including designing and implementing baseline and ongoing end-user surveys.
  • Assist in developing and prototyping processes for gathering and reporting qualitative Voice of the End User data.
  • Assist in developing an editorial and visual design system for the United States Air Force's EITaaS Program, comparable with leading private-sector services.
