  • Experience working with mechanical subsystems and structural assemblies such as panels, brackets, or electro-mechanical units is required.
  • Hands-on experience with composite materials such as CFRP, sandwich structures, solar panels, or precision mechanical components is required.
  • Experience with panel-level integration, including module installation and wiring harness routing or handling, is required.
  • A basic understanding of electrical integration principles, including connectors, grounding, and cable types such as RF, CAN, power, and thermal sensors, is required.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards, documentation, and traceability requirements is required.
  • Experience supporting root cause analysis and non-conformance resolution is required.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with evolving priorities and deadlines is required.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to work on the shop floor and support cross-functional teams directly are required.
  • Ability to collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA, and Planning is required.
  • Ownership, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset are required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, assemble, and verify mechanical subsystems and panel-level assemblies.
  • Integrate structural elements, including CFRP panels, sandwich structures, and mechanical components.
  • Perform panel assembly, including module installation and routing wiring harnesses for RF, CAN, power, and thermal sensors.
  • Ensure subsystem readiness, including antennas and solar panels, through testing and validation procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, AIT, and Quality teams to resolve integration issues and improve manufacturability.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively escalate blockers to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Support root cause analysis and non-conformance resolution.
  • Contribute to First Article Inspection activities and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
  • Perform or support incoming inspection of mechanical and structural components.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with aerospace manufacturing and quality standards.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with satellite structures and panel integration, including CFRP panels, sandwich constructions, and RANT assemblies.
  • Hands-on experience with full panel assembly, including integration and routing of RF, CAN, power, and thermal sensor cabling.
  • Understanding of thermal management and interfaces, such as thermal pads, pastes, and sensor integration.
  • Experience with incoming inspection of composite and machined parts.
  • Knowledge of environmental and mechanical testing, such as vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum testing.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as IPC, ECSS, or similar standards.
  • Experience in NewSpace or small satellite production environments.

  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems in manufacturing.

About the Company

ICEYE

SAR satellite constellation for Earth monitoring

ICEYE builds and operates the world’s largest synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation to monitor the Earth continuously, day or night and in any weather. Its SAR satellites capture radar imagery that can see through clouds and darkness, giving customers in defence and intelligence, insurance, emergency management, and environmental monitoring a persistent view of wide areas. Images and analytics are delivered from a network of satellites and, increasingly, sovereign constellations that governments can operate themselves. ICEYE plans to scale up production toward about 100 satellites per year by 2028 and has pursued large funding rounds to expand capacity and sovereign delivery, aiming to grow its revenue and backlog while offering reliable, near-real-time Earth observation data.
