Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, information management, or a related medical discipline is required.
  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional certification is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to access requirements for U.S. Government computer systems and networks.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor healthcare delivery plans, patient demand, access-to-care compliance, and quality-of-care initiatives impacting Medical Treatment Facility operations.
  • Prepare presentations, project papers, staff reports, biometric reports, and administrative correspondence for leadership.
  • Conduct studies and support projects, programs, and initiatives related to military healthcare activities.
  • Implement Medical Treatment Facility policies and initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Support clinical protocols and imaging workflow operations.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support daily Picture Archiving and Communication System operations to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Provide Tier I–III troubleshooting support for Picture Archiving and Communication Systems, Radiology Information Systems, modalities, and connected systems.
  • Build and maintain worklists, hanging protocols, and user profiles.
  • Support Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine device configuration, modality integration, and exam code mapping.
  • Coordinate with information technology, cybersecurity, networking, and vendor teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
  • Participate in Picture Archiving and Communication System upgrades, migrations, testing, workflow redesign, and system rollouts.
  • Maintain documentation related to incidents, system changes, downtime procedures, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide training and workflow guidance to end users, radiology staff, and clinical teams.
  • Assist with data reporting, analysis, audit responses, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between radiologists, technologists, information technology staff, and vendors to support imaging system operations and workflow optimization.
Desired Qualifications
  • PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association certification, including CPAS, CDIP, or CPSA, is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Fuji Synapse PACS, PowerScribe, or similar radiology reporting systems is preferred.
  • Experience with military, federal, or Department of Defense/Defense Health Agency healthcare systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, Authority to Operate processes, and secure configuration guidelines is preferred.
  • Experience performing Picture Archiving and Communication System data migrations, system upgrades, or table/worklist buildouts is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of imaging workflows across Radiology, Cardiology, and specialty clinics is preferred.
  • Vendor coordination experience with imaging, network, or reporting system vendors is preferred.
