Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- CompTIA Security+ certification, with the certification accepted in lieu of higher education.
- Experience equal to the degree level when using the education-equivalency option.
- Familiarity with the operation and technical support of Theater Battle Management Core Systems, NetApp, Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Working knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switching, WebLogic, and Oracle database.
- Experience working with virtualization technologies such as VMware and vSphere.
- General knowledge of a Tactical Air Command Center, Marine Tactical Air Control Squadron, and the tactical utilization of C4I systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide C4I systems support to military units through on-site and remote efforts.
- Set up, configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Theater Battle Management Core Systems.
- Provide support to military units while deployed, in garrison, in preparation for, and while participating in major exercises and contingency operations.
- Provide specialized system interoperability and integration support for multiple fielded C4I systems and associated tactical networks to Marines deployed and in garrison.
- Provide over-the-shoulder training and troubleshooting support for multiple fielded C4I systems and associated tactical networks.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical writing experience.
- CCENT, CCNA, or college-level education in network administration and security.
