- Candidates must live within 50 miles of their desired location and have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- The candidate must hold Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- The candidate must hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health care service delivery and other specialized tasks when appropriately trained and consistent with policies and procedures, including Georgia Board of Nursing rules and regulations.
- Provide direct personal patient observation, care, and assistance in a variety of hospital-based and clinic settings.
- Perform comfort and safety measures.
- Administer treatments and medication.
- Participate in the management and supervision of unlicensed personnel in the delivery of patient care.
