About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years as a platform or infrastructure engineer at a startup or growth-stage company.
  • Strong backend engineering skills, including the ability to design, build, and ship production services.
  • Comfort working across cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), networking, and monitoring.
  • Experience managing production deployments and debugging issues across application and infrastructure layers.
  • Ability to switch between product coding and infrastructure/operations work.
Responsibilities
  • Build and ship infrastructure services that power the product, including document pipelines, application logic, and platform features.
  • Own cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines across company and customer environments using AWS and Azure.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, containerized services, CI/CD, and release processes, including GPU node management for model serving.
  • Build monitoring, alerting, and observability across production deployments to detect pipeline failures, data-quality regressions, and infrastructure issues before customers report them.
  • Debug and resolve production issues end-to-end, from application-layer bugs to infrastructure failures.
  • Work with the offshore engineering team on architecture decisions, code reviews, and production stability.
  • Map production environments and infrastructure topology, identify fragile deployments and infrastructure risks, and document findings.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of a customer deployment, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Ship a backend product feature, such as patient data processing, a document-pipeline improvement, or a platform feature.
  • Document deployment runbooks, automate manual processes, and improve CI/CD to make releases safer and faster.
  • Develop a plan for infrastructure to support two to three times the current customer count without proportional headcount growth.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with data-heavy applications, including document-processing pipelines and batch or real-time data workflows.
  • Experience working with machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems in production, including model serving, GPU infrastructure, or pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience building infrastructure at an early-stage company as one of a small number of engineers owning the full stack.
  • Familiarity with building third-party product integrations.

About the company

Triomics uses generative AI to turn unstructured health-record data in oncology into actionable insights. Its OncoLLM analyzes doctor notes, PDFs, and lab results to extract relevant clinical information, with Prism automating patient-to-clinical-trial matching and Harmony curating EHR data for quality reporting and cohort analysis. By integrating with existing EHR systems, it speeds up tasks that used to require hours of manual review and can match patients to trials in minutes with high accuracy. The goal is to reduce manual data review in cancer research and care, accelerate trial enrollment, and support precision oncology for cancer centers, academic medical centers, and health systems.

What believers are saying

  • Triomics raised $22 million in May 2026, bringing total funding above $36 million.
  • May 2026 reports say customers grew fourfold and annualized recurring revenue rose tenfold.
  • January 2026 Mount Sinai and October 2025 MSK deployments prove enterprise adoption momentum.

What critics are saying

  • Epic and Flatiron can bundle oncology workflow features and squeeze Triomics by 2027.
  • Model errors in trial matching trigger missed enrollments, compliance failures, and clinician distrust immediately.
  • If Battery's $22 million Series B fails to convert into durable ARR, Triomics stalls.

What makes Triomics unique

  • Triomics sells oncology-specific AI, not generic chart summarization, with source-backed outputs.
  • Its platform embeds trial matching, pre-charting, and registry abstraction inside clinician workflows.
  • MSK, MD Anderson, Yale, and Mount Sinai validate its oncology-specialized workflow moat.
