  • Provide verbal and written diagnostic conceptualizations of client symptoms and presenting issues in systemic, environmental, and individual contexts.
  • Provide individual and, at times, group therapy for children on treatment-plan issues, including attachment, trust, safety, emotional expression, regulation, family relationships, future planning, trauma, and client goals.
  • Engage families and provide family therapy to support healthy attachment, prepare residents and caregivers for step-down, help clients apply residential learning at home, and coach caregivers.

  • Represent children at court hearings when needed, providing verbal and sometimes written testimony.
  • Collaborate as needed with outside treatment providers, obtain required consents, and ensure regular coordination.
  • Attend Administrative Case Reviews when needed.
