Berry Street partners with Tia to expand women's nutrition care.

Berry Street partners with Tia to expand women's nutrition care. The collaboration will give members access to specialized nutrition therapy, personalized care plans and AI-enabled support for women's health. Metabolic health company Berry Street is partnering with hybrid women's healthcare company Tia to connect Tia members with clinical nutrition therapy to help women during perimenopause and menopause. Berry Street connects individuals to registered dietitians for nutrition therapy, while Tia offers virtual and in-person care for women's health needs, including primary and gynecological care and wellness services. Tia also offers mental health assessments during primary care visits and nutritional counseling services through a partnership it announced last year with the virtual counseling platform Nourish. Through the partnership, Tia members will have access to Berry Street's network of Registered Dietitians, the majority of whom specialize in women's health. Members will receive a personalized care plan and AI-enabled support between visits. Meal tracking and integration of health data from wearables and lab results are also part of the offering. Berry Street's nutrition therapy can address fertility, lactation support, hormonal health, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, eating disorders, weight management, thyroid conditions and PCOS. "Many women come to Tia looking for answers to symptoms that don't fit neatly into a single specialty, especially during midlife when hormonal changes can affect everything from energy and sleep to weight, mood, and metabolic health," Felicity Yost, cofounder and CEO of Tia, said in a statement. "Nutrition is often an important part of the picture, but it's rarely integrated into care in a meaningful way. Through this partnership with Berry Street, we're making it easier for women to access specialized nutrition support that's connected to the rest of their healthcare journey." THE LARGER TREND In April, Berry Street became part of retail giant Walmart's Better Care Services platform alongside digital health companies Twin Health, Curai Health, Wheel and Aaptiv, with the aim of improving access to weight-management support, including GLP-1s. That same month, Berry Street was added to Amazon's Health Benefits Connector, which matches Amazon customers to digital health tools covered by employers. Last year, Berry Street garnered $50 million in funding from Northzone, the founder of Revolut, Sofina, FJ Labs, the cofounder of Spring Health, the cofounder of Grow Therapy and the CEO of Found, amongst others. Meanwhile, Tia has formed partnerships with fellow digital health companies, including nutritional counseling platform Nourish and mental health platform Talkspace. In March 2023, Tia raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Pivotal Ventures, the investment and incubation company founded by Melinda French Gates, which brought the company's total raise to $150 million. That same year, the company announced an extended partnership with the Los Angeles-based health system Cedars-Sinai. Through the collaboration, Tia opened its second Los Angeles clinic in Santa Monica, with plans to open additional clinics in Pasadena, Culver City and Studio City this year.

Women'S Health Pioneer Tia Rolls Out Nabla'S Ai Assistant To Enhance The Patient-Provider Relationship

Tia's mission is to help women live healthier lives by driving the highest standard of care for women by integrating primary care with gynecology, mental health, and wellness services via a hybrid modelPilot results showed that Nabla reduced clinical note submission time by 50% for Tia providers, allowing them to focus more intently on their patients during virtual and in-person appointmentsNEW YORK, March 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Nabla , the leading ambient AI assistant for clinicians, today announced its newest partnership with Tia , the health clinic that has redefined the standard of care for women. After a successful two-month pilot program, Tia rolled out Nabla's ambient AI assistant to its clinical team, marking a significant step forward in its technology-driven approach. This partnership enhances patient-centered care by alleviating clinical burnout and reducing the time spent on medical documentation for Tia appointments, regardless of whether it's in-person or virtual.Tia's recent Women's Integrated Primary Care 2024 Outcomes Report cited that nearly half of women ages 18-35 reported negative interactions with healthcare providers, contributing to higher rates of mental health issues, lower life expectancy, and lack of midlife support. This issue is especially pronounced for women of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals, who are disproportionately affected by medical bias and limited access to healthcare services. That's why Tia has pioneered a Primary Care 'Plus' model, that integrates primary care, reproductive health, mental health, and wellness services to provide comprehensive care for women. Relational care is a cornerstone of Tia's innovative model, a patient-first approach that emphasizes active listening and shared decision-making between patients and providers. Excessive documentation requirements shift providers' focus to screens rather than patients, adding administrative burden and potentially weakening the patient-provider relationship by creating a sense of disinterest."Improving provider-patient interactions is at the heart of Tia's mission," Felicity Yost, Tia co-founder and CEO

Tia Deploys Nabla’S Ai Assistant To Enhance Women’S Healthcare

What You Should Know: – Tia, a health clinic specializing in comprehensive women’s care, has announced a partnership with Nabla, an ambient AI assistant for clinicians. – The strategic collaboration aims to enhance patient-centered care by reducing clinical burnout and streamlining medical documentation through the integration of Nabla’s AI technology.Addressing Disparities in Women’s HealthcareTia’s recent “Women’s Integrated Primary Care 2024 Outcomes Report” highlighted significant challenges women face in healthcare. Nearly half of women ages 18-35 reported negative interactions with healthcare providers, contributing to increased mental health issues, decreased life expectancy, and inadequate midlife support. These challenges are disproportionately experienced by women of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals, who often encounter medical bias and limited access to care.To address these disparities, Tia has pioneered a Primary Care ‘Plus’ model that integrates primary care, reproductive health, mental health, and wellness services. A cornerstone of this model is “relational care,” which emphasizes active listening and shared decision-making between patients and providers. However, excessive documentation requirements can detract from these crucial interactions.Successful Pilot and Expanded ImplementationA two-month pilot program involving 30 Tia providers across seven specialties, including gynecology, acupuncture, psychiatry, preventative medicine, and primary care and family medicine, demonstrated the effectiveness of Nabla’s AI assistant. Providers reported a 50% reduction in the time required to submit clinical notes after appointments.Following the successful pilot, Tia has expanded Nabla’s use across all its clinics and markets, integrating it into both telehealth and in-person appointments
