Job Role – Designer

Key responsibilities of Designer at IXD/XD Team

User research:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviours to inform design decisions.

Information architecture:

• Organize and structure information within the interface to create a logical navigation flow.

Wireframing and prototyping:

• Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to visualize and test design
• concepts. Should have extremely good working knowledge of FIGMA.

Interaction design:

• Design interactive elements like buttons, menus, animations, and transitions to create a positive user experience.

User testing:

• Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with UX designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment and successful implementation.

Visual design:

• Contribute to the visual aesthetic of the interface while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.

Essential skills:

• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
• Proficiency in design tools: (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Prototyping skills
• Experience with user research methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to think critically and solve problems
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines
