Requirements
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time-management skills.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Social media proficiency, especially with LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
  • Basic accounting skills, such as balancing accounts.
  • Ability to bend and lift 30 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license, except in larger metropolitan areas.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare for daily client visits.
  • Prepare clothing for delivery.
  • Locate client information, including accounts receivable balances and sales sheets.
  • Update sales materials regarding fabrics and options.
  • Coordinate and maintain client orders and files.
  • Set up client appointments, provide order status, schedule deliveries, and send reminders.
  • Communicate regularly with the sales professional and other store team members.
  • Meet with the sales professional to set goals.
  • Manage the daily calendar and organize inventory.
  • Improve efficiency of processes and communication.
  • Pick up and deliver client items as needed.
  • Prospect for new clients using internet and social media applications.
  • Use LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Twitter for digital marketing.
  • Enter referrals into the proprietary system.
  • Send introductory and promotional messages.
  • Create call lists and hot lists.
  • Provide customer service when contacting factories, the corporate office, clients, and outside vendors.
  • Maintain a professional image when interfacing with corporate clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of office-related experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a sales-oriented environment is a plus.
