Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • H1 2026 revenue rose 3.1% to €235.2 million, confirming execution.
  • Water quality sensors reached €2.5 million in 2025, five times 2023.
  • LACROIX closed a €77.6 million syndicated loan in May 2026, extending maturity.

What critics are saying

  • Electronics fell 1.1% in H1 2026, signaling weak core demand.
  • Spanish PERTE funding ended June 30, 2026, cutting water-sensor growth momentum.
  • If Electronics stagnates and PERTE fades, LACROIX misses 2027 targets and becomes a takeover target.

What makes LACROIX unique

  • LACROIX combines industrial Electronics with Environment systems for water networks and smart infrastructure.
  • Its SOFREL water portfolio now spans chlorine, wastewater, and drinking-water quality sensors.
  • The group keeps extending installed base relationships instead of chasing consumer-device volume.
