  • 7+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, including meaningful tenure at a company known for the quality of its design
  • An AI-native builder with demonstrated experience shipping working software through AI design and coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, v0, or Lovable, where prototyping in code is your default mode
  • A portfolio of large, complex features owned end to end, with award-caliber interactive work and a strong focus on mobile
  • Deep command of interaction design, information architecture, and design systems, with an obsessive eye for micro interactions
  • Experience designing for international audiences across markets and cultures
  • An instinct for qualitative insight, building conviction through taste and direct observation rather than surveys or A/B tests
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and genuine comfort reading, writing, and shipping code alongside engineers, with AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow
  • A low-ego, high-output designer who thrives in the weeds, treats no detail as too minor, and raises the bar with every release
  • Experience in luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus

  • Compress the distance from concept to interactive build, moving in hours rather than weeks and putting real product in front of the team early and often
  • Work directly in the code with engineers, reading and producing it with AI coding tools to ship what you design
  • Partner with growth and product teams to keep design intent intact from Figma through implementation
  • Push our AI toolkit forward, experimenting with new tools and workflows and raising the bar for how design gets built at Dorsia

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Dorsia raised $50.4 million in February 2025, extending hiring and expansion runway.
  • Continuum and La Baia North added Dorsia memberships to Miami luxury real estate.
  • MoonPay crypto payments broaden spending frictionlessly across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and Dubai.

What critics are saying

  • Restaurants can replace Dorsia with direct VIP lists, shrinking inventory by 2027.
  • One policy shift in Miami, London, or Dubai can cut Dorsia's supply overnight.
  • If affluent travelers tire of paying for reservations, Dorsia loses its entire value proposition.

What makes Dorsia unique

  • Dorsia pays restaurants directly, unlike reservation scalpers banned in New York in 2025.
  • Its Culture Calendar, launched February 2026, bundles dining, Fashion Week, Coachella, and F1.
  • Dorsia charges up to $25,000 yearly membership for guaranteed access and concierge status.

Dorsia launches Culture Calendar at Mexico City art week event

Dorsia, the tech-driven hospitality platform, has launched its Culture Calendar during Mexico City's Art Week. The feature consolidates major cultural events into a curated, swipeable interface within the Dorsia app, allowing members to discover and plan attendance at sought-after moments globally. The company celebrated the launch with Sol A Sol, an 18-hour members-only event on a private Polanco helipad on 8 February. The gathering featured DJ performances, refreshments from Lardo, and drew notable attendees from art and hospitality circles. The Culture Calendar covers events including Fashion Weeks, Coachella, Art Basel and F1 weekends. Members can browse by city, build itineraries and book nearby restaurants through Dorsia's platform. Lifestyle journalist Ty Gaskins has joined as Culture Editor to curate content. The feature is now available to all Dorsia members.

This stunning new immersive art experience invites folks to interact with it daily

This stunning new immersive art experience invites folks to interact with it daily. Someone tell Cher: You can actually turn back time with this one! Miami Art Week is famously overstimulating, boasting enough neon parties, museum-grade pop-ups and brand activations to deregulate your nervous system. But this year's most head-turning installation might be happening away from the fairgrounds, when Dorsia unveils Time Drop. This immersive art experience lets visitors literally control the flow of water, sound and time itself. The installation begins at 6pm on December 4 and runs through December 8 at the newly opened Dorsia Miami HQ and Social Club. First seen at Burning Man, Time Drop transforms a 30-by-10-foot space into a hyper-sensory environment made of water, light and mirrors. Raindrops (and what the project refers to as "eagle tears") fall from the ceiling into a glowing garden, but, with the twist of a knob, the entire scene slows into slow motion. Then twist the knob back again, and time rewinds. The droplets rise back into the sky and reabsorb into the eagle's eyes before falling again. The work comes from New Mexico - born engineer Jordan MacHardy, whose art blends mechanical engineering with high-impact spectacle. His practice centers on letting audiences manipulate natural phenomena, providing a chance to lay your hands on forces we usually just watch. Time Drop can move 80 - 100 people through it per hour and is ADA accessible, making it one of the more inclusive immersive moments of the week. Each day features four different timed sessions: Rise (10am - 1pm), Light (1pm - 5pm), Sunset (5pm - 9pm) and Afterdark (9pm - 2am). Admission is free, but visitors must book a slot through the Dorsia app. The HQ is at 4030 N. Miami Ave, putting it right in the heart of the Design District's Basel orbit. Dorsia has already become one of Art Week's most visible hospitality partners, offering curated dining access and programming throughout the city, but Time Drop marks its biggest cultural swing yet. If you've ever wanted to turn back time - or just take a brief break from Basel chaos - this might be the most transporting 10 minutes of your week.
