Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications with a public relations specialization or in a related field.
  • Excellent writing skills and fluency in French and English.
  • Solid understanding of integrated communications.
  • Good knowledge of local and national media.
  • Knowledge of social media, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Ability to collaborate with Gameloft’s various business units.
  • Ability to support managers, implement strategies, and innovate.
  • Availability on an occasional basis for assignments outside normal working hours, such as attending industry events on weeknights or weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Gameloft Montreal’s communications strategy and promote the studio’s brand image among employees, potential talent, media, partners, and other audiences.
  • Define communications directions, plan and drive initiatives, and lead a small team to promote and protect the studio’s reputation.
  • Lead initiatives to increase brand awareness and position the studio as dedicated to PC and console games and as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with headquarters on joint projects, including content showcasing the Montreal teams.
  • Coordinate resources with other studios in the group to maximize communications impact.
  • Define and oversee the content strategy and editorial calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, including recruitment posts.
  • Contribute to content series with headquarters and to the annual editorial calendar.
  • Optimize public-facing pages and manage the employer’s online reputation.
  • Produce the internal newsletter, update the intranet, and support studio meetings for employees.
  • Support initiatives led by the human resources and recruitment teams.
  • Oversee the promotion of internal events and the Gameloft Store.
  • Drive the strategy for promoting employee-selected causes and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners such as La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec and ESAC, and participate in committees and initiatives.
  • Identify speaking and panel opportunities at industry events to contribute to thought leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and national journalists for proactive and reactive campaigns.
  • Draft press kits, key messages, and other media-relations materials.
  • Identify and train internal ambassadors to promote the studio.
