Requirements

At least 3 years of related work experience.
A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree is preferred.
The position requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
The position requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

Prepare special meals or substitute items; prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists; prepare cold foods.
Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and move food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
Ensure proper food portions, arrangement, and garnish; maintain food logs; monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food; and ensure food items meet quality expectations and standards.
Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials.
Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and items that are out of stock.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, and serve as a role model.
Follow company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
Anticipate and address guests' service needs; communicate clearly and professionally; maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; and listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
