Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer supporting enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
  • Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices, with Cisco required.
  • A Cisco Certified Network Associate certification in Routing and Switching is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of LAN, WAN, wireless, and voice/data networks, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Analyze and resolve network performance issues involving latency, connectivity, and security; ensure optimal uptime and timely resolution of incidents and service disruptions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access controls, and ensure compliance with change management and operational procedures.
  • Participate in capacity planning, network expansion, disaster recovery, backup and restore activities, and evaluation of new technologies to support scalability and business continuity.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and asset inventory; support cross-functional teams and junior staff; and communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
  • Configure, install, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; ensure reliability through updates and patching.
  • Proactively monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and resolve connectivity, latency, and downtime issues.
  • Implement and support network security controls, participate in audits, and follow change management processes.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and work cross-functionally to support integration and issue resolution.
  • Support network upgrades, capacity planning, and adoption of new technologies to meet evolving business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice, Network+, Security+ or equivalent.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, ACS, WLC, WCS, MARS, and Stealthwatch.
  • Exposure to WiFi 6 and/or 5G network technologies.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Bilingual Korean language skills.
