Requirements
  • Education: Associate’s degree in healthcare or business administration required or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a physician office/practice, hospital setting, healthcare insurance provider or other healthcare relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of patient registration experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a physician practice or hospital environment, healthcare insurance provider or other healthcare relevant experience required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversees the daily registration functions within Patient Access’s scope of work.
  • Ensures the operational unit is staffed appropriately.
  • Promotes a positive patient experience for patients and families.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills when interacting with staff, patients, families, and leadership.
  • Supervises efficient and compliant registration processes ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements including adherence to departmental and institutional protocols.
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to complete daily work requirements, resolves departmental and patient problems as needed and monitors key performance metrics to ensure goals are achieved.
