Requirements
Basic knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, nursing interventions, pharmacology, methods for delivering nursing care, and management of patients and personnel.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Indiana Registered Nurse licensure.
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.
Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
Supervise nursing personnel activities daily and participate in the delivery of general nursing duties.
Administer prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing procedures and physician orders.
Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify the supervisor or physician of conditions and significant incidents.
Prepare equipment and aid the physician during patient treatment and examinations.
Assess patient vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine patient progress.
Manage personnel assignments, supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel, oversee patient placement and cost containment, and support patient and family education and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Indiana RN licensure required

BLS certification
