About the Role
You will be an important early member of the local team, building up Aurora’s business in Germany and reporting directly to the General Manager in Germany. This role will require you to consult clients on becoming more efficient with their sales process as much as with the design and planning of solar installations.
You are passionate about Sales, understanding client’s pain points, and coming up with client-centric solutions. You have experience in being responsible for a revenue target and working in a cross-functional team to hit this target.
Working with the product team to give feedback and communicate German customer needs is important in this role to ensure we serve our German customers well and build a sustainable business in this new market.
Your Impact
Ensure a fantastic customer experience by listening, consulting, and delivering a top service. You are the face of the Aurora brand in the market!
Outreach: Research and contact potential clients (sometimes with the support of a BDR, sometimes directly)
Sell our value proposition and product functionalities, including a demo of our software
Negotiate and close deals, understanding the complexities of stakeholder management
Maintain our CRM and own your revenue forecasting
Give feedback to our product team on client needs and market trends
Some travel required: Monthly client travel within Germany (primarily Berlin and Hamburg), occasional travel to the office in Munich (minimum quarterly, more if desired), and at least 1 international trip to the US per year
