Requirements
  • Relevant Qualification or Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of machine control technical experience
  • Experience with CAN/J1939, Ethernet and wireless communications
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of previous testing and validation experience with grade control products
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated passion for the business
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a global team
  • Experience in the field of surveying
  • Knowledge of CAN, ET or other data link communications
  • Experience with GPS, machine control and guidance system design or validation
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude as well as manual dexterity to work well in bench test and machine test environments
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel (including international / up to 35%)
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for participating in risk identification process with the wider product/project team
  • Customer identification, logistics, kit ordering, product training, feedback, issue resolution and documentation.
  • Working with Cat and Trimble to identify appropriate customers for external V&V.
  • Creating test plans regarding external customer machines and sites
  • First point of contact for identification and management of product issues from external customer sites
  • Management of Trimble, Caterpillar and CTCT databases used in tracking product issues
  • Process efficiency projects related to risk-based testing
