Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Qualified as an MOT Tester.
  • At least two years of experience after qualifying, working in a franchise dealership or similar environment.
  • Experience working with both cars and commercial vehicles.
  • Currently entitled to work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake maintenance, servicing, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types within scheduled times and to company and franchise standards.
  • Repair and test vehicles and diagnose faults as required by the Service Manager and supervisory staff.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record their usage.
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy, organised, and safe from health and safety hazards.
  • Complete work effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
  • Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements, including future servicing and repair requirements.
