Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project; training is acceptable.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
  • Experience working on electrical or mission-critical projects is preferred.
  • Exposure to Critical Path Method scheduling concepts.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Internship or prior experience supporting scheduling, project controls, or project management.
  • Basic understanding of procurement workflows and material tracking.
  • Experience using Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling coordination or Virtual Design and Construction processes.
  • OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to job sites.
  • Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions.
  • References, background check, and drug screen testing are required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of construction scheduling experience, electrical or mission-critical experience preferred, or engineering or project coordination experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and practice safe work procedures.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructional manuals and written materials.
  • Ability to hear and see well, either naturally or with correction.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Tolerance for prolonged sitting and repetitive use of the arms, hands, and fingers.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing baseline schedules, including activity definition, sequencing, and duration input.
  • Update schedules weekly or monthly based on field input and project team feedback.
  • Maintain logic ties between activities to ensure proper sequencing and schedule integrity.
  • Track and update procurement status, including material releases, fabrication, and delivery dates.
  • Support integration of subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule.
  • Assist in incorporating prefabrication, kitting, and installation workflows into schedule activities.
  • Participate in pull planning sessions and coordination meetings with project teams.
  • Generate standard schedule reports, including look-aheads, progress updates, and variance reports.
  • Identify potential schedule impacts and escalate risks to senior schedulers or project managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule changes, assumptions, and updates.
