Requirements
  • At least 7 years of Loan Agency, Loan Administration, or closely related loan operations experience.
  • High-level familiarity with standard loan facility documentation, such as Loan Market Association documentation.
  • A track record of successfully managing loan operations teams.
  • Extensive loan administration experience covering the full range of loan event processing.
  • Ability to manage daily operational activity, prioritize competing deliverables, and allocate work effectively against deadlines.
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing control environments, procedures, checklists, and operational governance.
  • Ability to identify operational risks, process weaknesses, and improvement opportunities, and support practical change delivery.
  • Experience with employee development and performance management.
  • Ability to balance commercial responsiveness, operational discipline, and risk management in client service.
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients, lenders, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Ability to use sound judgment when escalating client and transaction issues and proactively resolve complex matters.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Loan Agency Operations team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide line management of team members, including service-level-agreement oversight and performance metrics.
  • Support employee development, including performance and development reviews.
  • Manage daily client and loan transaction administration deliverables.
  • Oversee and approve transaction activities including rollovers, rate sets, payments, drawdowns, refinancings, and syndications.
  • Oversee loan transfers for syndicated transactions through ClearPar and offline trades.
  • Oversee invoicing, cash forecasting, and deal terminations.
  • Maintain a robust control environment through procedures, checklists, and dual-control processes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Loan Agency operational platform and support process and system enhancements.
  • Act as a key escalation point for internal and external transaction and client service matters.
  • Oversee the operational setup of new transactions on the operational platform to reflect contractual deliverables and facility documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the operating model to support scalable, controlled, and consistent delivery.
  • Provide accountable leadership that maintains operational resilience and delivery against agreed service standards.
  • Support development of the team structure and operating model, including clear roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths.
  • Coach and develop team members to build capability, accountability, and depth across key operational processes.
  • Maintain and enhance documented procedures, systems knowledge, and deal-specific operating guidance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and senior escalation point on complex transactions, client relationships, and platform infrastructure.
  • Promote structured knowledge sharing across the team.

U.S. Bancorp posts record $7.7B revenue, raises 2026 outlook to 7-9% growth on BTIG strength

U.S. Bancorp reported strong second-quarter 2026 results, with earnings per share of $1.35, up approximately 22% year-over-year, and record net revenue of $7.7 billion. Return on tangible common equity reached 18.7%, whilst the efficiency ratio improved to 57.1%. Fee income rose 13.2% year-over-year, driven by the recently completed BTIG acquisition. BTIG generated approximately $98 million in revenue during its first month, the strongest monthly performance in its history. The company expects BTIG to contribute roughly $200 million per quarter in the second half of 2026. Average loans totalled $405 billion, up 7.1% year-over-year. Net interest income increased 7.5% to $4.4 billion. The bank raised its 2026 revenue outlook to 7% to 9% growth, up from the previous 4% to 6% range.
