Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical aesthetics or medical device downstream (commercialization) marketing in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications, Master's Degree in Business preferred.
  • Proven experience developing and executing 360 marketing campaigns and leading the creative development process including design and copy feedback/direction.
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong presentation skills and highly comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels (customers, executives, vendors, etc.).
  • Experience developing and managing a budget, forecasting and invoicing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate programs, managing through ambiguity to execution.
  • A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, sales, clinical affairs, product teams, etc.
  • Managerial experience; leadership qualities to motivate and drive peer teams and direct reports
  • Familiarity with the supplement and hair thinning category is a bonus.
  • Critical thinker, problem-solver.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing or evolving positioning, marketing strategy, and marketing plans for the following Professional sales channels: healthcare providers, estheticians and hair stylists.
  • Develop innovative strategies and programs to increase brand awareness, acquire/nurture sales leads and drive wholesale purchase through all professional channels.
  • For key projects, lead the creative development process, including writing project briefs for the creative teams, providing copy and design direction, managing deadlines, providing creative feedback, and ensuring product messaging and claims are accurate and consistent.
  • Measure and report on marketing activity KPIs; make recommendations to ensure initiatives are meeting/ exceeding goals, increasing ROI and revenue.
  • Provide guidance and support for HCP, Esthetician and Salon paid media awareness activities with industry partners to drive awareness, recommendation, product seeding and sales leads (activities include webinars, podcasts, advertising, emails, etc).
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies for new products; collaborate with cross-functional teams for GTM planning, refine and convey value proposition and key messaging, recommend materials and promotions and analyze for optimization.
  • Oversee the planning of digital and printed materials and communications to increase brand awareness at all touch points of a patient and client journey – from social media to point of sale materials – to drive sell-through sales.
  • Lead monthly email and social media marketing plans by the Professional Marketing team to HCP, Esthetician and Salon accounts and leads
  • Contribute to trade show strategy, planning, branding and lead-generation activities for ~30 conferences/year.
  • Identify and recommend Nutrafol brand campaigns to pull through to the Professional channel and new activities to promote relevant national awareness campaigns to providers and their patients/clients.
  • Attend and represent Nutrafol key trade shows/conferences and events. Stay abreast of categories via medical and scientific literature.
  • Establish relationships with doctors, estheticians and stylists to be utilized as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze the competition, plan for competitive threats, develop, execute, and measure programs and tactics to advance the Nutrafol product portfolio and deliver market share growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships (Product Development, Creative, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, PR, Brand, Social, and Clinical & Medical Affairs); collaborate and gain support for initiatives.
  • Co-manage monthly budget, forecasting and invoicing, support departmental leadership in annual strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Co-manage relationship with creative agency and PR/trade show planning agency.
  • Attend 2-5 national trade shows annually
