Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and refine preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime across lanes, arcade attractions, building systems, and food and beverage equipment.
  • Manage regional facility budgets, capital repairs, vendor contracts, and inventory with financial discipline.
  • Analyze performance trends including downtime, repair costs, and equipment life cycles to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Provide direct technical support across centers during high-volume periods and critical equipment failures.

Same-store sales remained flat year-on-year. Lucky Strike lowered its full-year revenue guidance to $1.26 billion from $1.29 billion, 1.5% below analyst estimates. Full-year EBITDA guidance of $347.5 million also fell short of the $374.1 million consensus. The company, which operates upscale bowling alleys and entertainment venues across North America, has seen revenue growth slow to 5.8% annually over the past two years.

Same-store revenue rose 0.2%, whilst net income grew to $16.9 million from $13.3 million. However, adjusted EBITDA declined to $109.0 million from $117.3 million in the prior year. The quarter was impacted by two major winter storms and deteriorating consumer sentiment following escalating Middle East conflict. The company identified elevated payroll expenses early in the quarter and implemented corrective actions, including AI-driven labour optimisation initiatives expected to deliver meaningful benefits from the fourth quarter onwards. Lucky Strike now operates 368 locations, including a recently acquired water park. Year-to-date capital expenditures decreased to $90.1 million from $117.5 million.

PBA and Lucky Strike Entertainment name former PFL CEO Peter Murray as dual chief executive

Lucky Strike Entertainment and the Professional Bowlers Association have appointed Peter Murray as CEO of the PBA and head of media for Lucky Strike Entertainment. Murray joins from the Professional Fighters League, where he served as founding CEO and helped build the organisation into a global sports property. In his dual role, Murray will oversee the PBA's global growth whilst developing a cross-platform media strategy for Lucky Strike's 360-plus venues nationwide. The appointment aims to modernise professional bowling through expanded behind-the-scenes access, personality-driven storytelling and new digital formats. The 2026 PBA Tour will broadcast live on The CW starting 22 February, with CBS and Paramount+ coverage beginning 4 April. Murray previously held executive positions at Under Armour, William Morris Endeavor and the National Football League.
