Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • ConeTec's July 2026 website highlights project summaries in bridge rebuilds and hydroelectric dams.
  • The Geotech acquisition expanded Western Canada drilling capacity and Nunavut exposure in January 2024.
  • Patent-pending Hyperspectral-CPTu targets faster sampling, lower lab costs, and less environmental impact.

What critics are saying

  • Geotech integration still ties ConeTec to Gregg, All-Service, and Geotech Ekutak under one platform.
  • Fugro and Keller already pressure ConeTec's niche; a 2026 product lag shrinks pricing power.
  • A catastrophic drill or contamination incident triggers litigation, customer exits, and lender pressure within months.

What makes ConeTec Group unique

  • ConeTec runs hyperspectral CPTu, a patent-pending method launched October 31, 2025.
  • Its fleet spans truck, track, amphibious, over-water, and limited-access rigs across 30 locations.
  • Menard Group backing adds global soil investigation, improvement, and remediation reach.
